My interest in multichannel delivery was piqued way back in the days of Quadraphonic in the early seventies. I mixed Pink Floyd’s "Dark Side of the Moon" and "Atom Heart Mother" in Quad soon after the albums were originally recorded and mixed.
My choice of microphones for vocals varies depending on the voice, the tune, where I’m recording and the chain I’m using, and in some cases on the acknowledged favorite mic of the vocalist.
