Budget-minded cousin of the KSM-32 doesn't skimp on features

The Shure KSM series now includes three microphones, the KSM44, KSM32 and the new budget-minded Shure KSM27. This latest addition to the line is also a side-address condenser microphone with a cardioid polar pattern, like its cousin, the KSM32. In spite of the lower price range, Shure did not skimp on the features; this mic delivers the value one traditionally expects from a Shure microphone.

Devastated by a catastrophic fire in August 1998, the Central Synagogue, a landmark building on NYC's Lexington Avenue and Fifty-fifth Street, was reduced to a burned-out shell. In the wake of this disaster, architect Hugh Hardy of HHPA (Hardy Holzman Pfeifer Associates), was called in to rebuild the temple.
