What makes a good audio computer?
It's not every day a Grammy Award winner walks into a computer shop, but that's how Earl Foote met Douglas Spotted Eagle, who was looking for a FireWire cable. Foote, who runs PCNirvana in Salt Lake City, soon began building custom computers for Spotted Eagle, applying his systems expertise for audio, video, streaming and other digital media applications. In this interview, he shares some of his insights about the makings of a good audio computer system.
While the DVD format has standardized when it comes to movies on DVD, the opposite is true for burning DVDs on the PC. The format remains fractioned into two camps, the DVD+/RW format and the DVD-R/RW formats.
