Safe Sound Audio is a new audio-design company and manufacturer located in West Yorkshire, UK. Their products are designed and manufactured in the UK., with the P1 Audio Processor being their first product to market. Right from the moment I unpacked the half rack sized sized Safe Sound Audio P1, which retails for $599 in the US, I was confident of the build quality of the British-designed and built unit. It felt tuff, durable and heavy and the pots and buttons all felt solid.

The two companies have gone into partnership to offer the games industry the same facilities that have hitherto only been available for the film and TV industries. DLL's facilities include an ISDN link for remote recording, multiple sound studios and the company has experience of recording more than 200 film and TV productions. This experience enables the two companies to offer music, sound effects and English voiceover, as well as localised voiceover.
